GUI Thursday: nautilus-search-tool - File search
The find command is very useful for recursively searching a directory for a particular set of files. The Nautilus extension nautilus-search-tool puts some of find's capabilities on the context menu of the Nautilus file manager.
Once you've installed nautilus-search-tool and restarted GNOME, the Nautilus context menu will contain an option labeled Search for files... Selecting this option will call up the search dialog shown in the screenshot.
It's obvious from first glance that this dialog lets you search by partial filename, but clicking on Select more options reveals controls that enable you to specify complex, compound criteria. You can search by modification date, file size, ownership, group ownership, strings contained in (or excluded from) the filename, and regular expressions applied to filenames.
Nautilus-search-tool provides a tiny but useful enhancement for the Nautilus file manager. At only 26 Kb, it's worth checking out!

I used google to find a site with webcam drivers, but have not pursued it too far. (I can borrow a logitech webcam).
That webcam site provides driver sources and a list of all the webcam chips out there. But there is also the microphone that is usb driven along with the web cam. Is the audio a subchannel (so to speak) of the image transmitted to the pc?
